Habitat:

This Leaf-footed Bug was spotted on unidentified foliage, growing along the edge of a rice field.

Notes:

Coreidae; Coreinae; Homoeocerini; Homoeocerus puncticornis Burmeister, 1834. According to https://www.ibiol.ro/zoology/RJB-Z-66/pdf/RJBZ_66_art-3.pdf..... this is the Type Species of the Genus Homoeocerus. It is very common in our area and its favourite hostplant appears to be Hyacinth bean (Lablab purpureus L.) which is known as Bataw, in this part of the Philippines.
