Description:

Delicate white butterfly with black upper wing tips, and a single black spot on the center of each wing.

Habitat:

Found at Beaver Creek State Park in SD, in a wild flower prairie near the river's edge

Notes:

We are fairly certain of the scientific name of this butterfly, but welcome any comments or suggestions!
