Description:

Green Iguanas are native to Central and South America. Released purposely and/or accidentally from the exotic pet trade, they thrive in the Southern Florida climate and have become pests (http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/in528). They are slowly increasing their range north in the state as the climate warms.
