It is a pity you retired your mission, because the other one does not cover the area where you are, only north-west africa around Morroco. You could have called yours Southern Africa, South Africa, even Kruger Park and surrounding area, as nothing covers that area yet. Local missions are exactly that, they cover a local area up to a max of 300 miles radius. Once a mission has been retired it cannot be reinstated but you can always create another.
Thanks - and apologies - I did a search last night before creating the mission to ensure there was nothing similar and did not find anything. But today I saw there were postings with an Africa birds mission so there already was one, even though it didn't turn up in the Noah search. So I will delete the new mission I created as there shouldn't be duplications.
Hello Nopayahnah, I have added this to your mission as requested. I have many more suitable photographs already posted but as yet there is no easy way to add multiple past spottings to a mission so they will have to wait awhile. This is just one of many improvements which have been suggested but some things may require a major rewrite of the entire host program to implement and that takes considerable time and resources.
Please consider adding this to the mission Birds of Africa
