Champadha (Thai)

This fruit is similar to Jackfruit but the locals here eat it when the flesh is very ripe and soft, whereas the Jackfruit tends to be eaten when ripe but firm. To protect the fruit when ripening it is enclosed in a bag, or cloth maybe wrapped around.
