Field Notes

Description:

Small to medium sized deer tan, reddish brown above in the summer, brown to grayish in winter. Eyering, throat patch, inside the ears, underside and tail all white.

Habitat:

Woodland and forest edges, brush lands, farmlands and some urban edges.

Notes:

This deer was very cooperative and unafraid. She was only a few yards away from the road and every tolerated my moving the car to get a better picture.
