Description:

Very destructive tussock caterpillars. Harmful to PA vegetation. Primarily feeds on Hickory, Pecan or Walnut Trees. Grows to a length of 4.5 cm (1.77 inches)

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

Also known as Hickory Halisdota Moth as an adult
