Description:

Sea hare found in tidepools in southern California. A mottled purple/red/brownish color gained partially from its diet of red algae.

Habitat:

Tidepool on the southern California coast.

This is indeed a sea hare! In fact, it's the Californian sea hare :) They are pretty neat looking things, nice find!! That colour is just awesome, isn't it?
