The internet has made this type of thing ever so much easier, I must admit. But I was pretty sure without looking it up. We start seeing the rubies about now

Definitely not a finch - pretty sure you have ruby crowned kinglet, although one fo the vireos would be my second choice. We have ruby crowned here too(just 4 hours N in Oregon) and I see them all the time
Definitely not a Finch, the bill is NOT a finch bill.
I have several good shots of a Hutton's Vireo, and it doesn't match. Unless I have the Hutton's wrong! Thanks, I'll look into it.
