I love the many different colours that this plant can be. Used to see it a lot up in the hills on Koh Samui, but did'nt know what it was, so thank you Craig for the ident, and Zarina for adding the spotting : )

Hi Zarina, this is beautiful but it isn't a fern, it's Selaginella willdenowii. Despite having the common name 'Peacock Fern' is from another group of spore bearing plants that isn't related to ferns. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selaginella
Found this during my trek in Commonwealth Forest Park in Malaysia. The colour determine how much solar energy it get.
