Field Notes

Description:

Crested Terns have a crest of black feathers on there heads and a pale yellow beak. There plumage is white, except for the wings which are grey.

Silver gulls have a white breast with grey wings and a red beak and legs. You'll see these guys at practically any beach in Australia.

Habitat:

Crested Terns live in small to large flocks that sometimes have other species of seabirds living with them.

Silver gulls can be found at practically any beach in Australia.

Notes:

I only just noticed these guys mating! I'm pretty happy with this shot! Thanks to ChicquitaRajawali and Atul for pointing out a few mistakes.
