Chicquita, as this is the larval stage of a bug, I've moved this to arthropods for you.
Its never bothering. These are the types of thing I could spend hours enjoying and talking about. <<I'm just not sure if I'm right on that choice>> I just feel that this image is alive and speaks directly to the heart. There can be nothing more subjective then that. Thank you very much for sharing it with the rest of the world through ProjectNoah.
Animaisfotos, you are right, thankyou so much. I have added 2 more pics from my file that probably more descriptive. Sorry to keep bothering you :)
Let it stay the way you like it the most. Its an amazing record of Nature's most beautiful creatures. "Just don't throw the second pic away" :-). My Favorite. My Precious.
animaisfotos, I am still thinking .... :)
Lovely anyway. Congrats. I'm also in favor of getting the photo to reflect reality. Although in this case, I consider the second photo a really special one. I Can't be logical about it... It's an Art Work. Thank you.
Animaisfotos, I have changed it around because I thought it should be shown in true color. @Leuba, thankyou ...
The first picture does look like a small treasure. A wonderful spotting. Indeed. Thanks for sharing.
Elsa, Karen and textless, thanks, I saw some more of these, riding on jellies last Friday around the marina.
Wonderful first spot! Welcome to Project Noah Chicquita!
Sachin, unfortunately I forgot to film it. I must say, it's creepy but fascinating.
This transparent looking bug is the larva of balmain bug. It will shed its feathery legs and becomes a bottom feeder. Have a look at the 4th image. Lori, it is still far away from eating size, yet :) Atul, I put this little cutie in my observation tank for photoshoot and then I released it
Great photos. I still can't believe people eat these. ;)
There are jellyfish and balmain bug above. What about that spider-like white animal above? What is it?
how did you capture this one ???
