Field Notes

Description:

These photos were taken over a series of three days in the same area, but all the same species so I grouped them.

These ducks were pretty aggressive and had no problem hunting me down on the path and attempting to interact. Someone must have been feeding them.

Habitat:

Freshwater body, surrounded by trees and thick grass.

Notes:

Alternative names are Black-billed Whistling Duck and Cuban Whistling Duck
