thanks for all your comments the first one is a stork family rest are all pelicans
hmm...maybe not brown pelican...maybe spotted-billed pelican (Pelecanus philippensis) is more common in that range?
the first pic is definitely not a pelican. ;)
first pic looks like a species of stork with a cattle egret and 2nd and 3rd pics look like brown pelicans (Pelecanus occidentalis). One of the pelicans look hungry too! ;)
