They are sometimes aggresive near where tourists visit. Same in Malaysia around the temples.
In India many people taught Monkeys to theft and do crime through them. This is most worrying thing.
Their tail is very short compared to all other Indian Monkeys.
Agree with you mick.. They are wonderful to watch however feeding wild animals is one bad habit that people will have to understand is not good .. You might have seen a Hanuman Langur..
I like these animals a lot - One of our workers used to leave offerings out for the Monkey God when we stayed in New Delhi for some years. A large monkey would come to our roof garden and collect -an Auspicious occasion -I don't think they were Macaques perhaps.
