Description:

Large, black jumping spider with three white spots on the abdomen and metallic blue chelicerae (fangs).

Notes:

I'm about 95% sure this is P. regius, but it could also be P. audax.

Thank you for the information jumpingspiderman! I like that everyone learns so much on this site.
Cindy--after seeing your comment I did some more research. I found out that P. regius has disproportionally large, black and white striped front legs, and two oval-shaped white spots at the end of the abdomen. This guy had both of these distinguishing characteristics, so I'm pretty confident he's P. regius.
Exquisite colors! I love the electric blue!
Based on where it was spotted, I'd think this would be P. audax but they do look similar.
