Description:

in the second photo you can see that tiny white flowers come out of this little ball structure.

Habitat:

tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica, end of rainy season in a roadside setting.

All of these pictures are of the same flowering plant. It is definitely not a Noni tree. The first photo has the little ball structure which is "full grown". There were still some inflorescense underneath, but few. The second and third shot show the little ball with many inflorescenses and much smaller...still in a growing stage. This right outside of my house so I will see if I can get some better shots.
Are all of these pictures of the same plant? The first one looks like it has different leaves than the second two. My first thought when I saw the first photo in the series was noni, but I can't find pictures of the early flowering structure that look very similar to this one.
