Description:

Rough skinned newt with orange belly. Secretes a neurotoxin that is sometimes potent enough to irritate human skin, however they are usually safe to handle

They are very common here. You see them most when hiking in damp cool weather, but they are pretty easy to find the rest of the time too, if you know where to look
