Description:
thick, inflated-appeared orange fungi attached to decaying log; it pushes the meaning to call this a shelf fungus
Habitat:
tropical mountain forest of mixed trees, including native koa and ohia, as well as alien eucalytpus, with fern-and-vine understory and grasses growing on open ground
Notes:
spotted on the south side of the Aiea Loop Trail on Oahu; I'd appreciate a suggestion for a better common name
