Elongated, soft-bodied beetles with hairy elytra.
Order Coleoptera
Family Cantharidae

Habitat:

Cantharid beetles are frequent flower visitors, being especialy attrached to umbellifers, although they are carnivorous insects and probably feed on other flower-visiting species.
