Description:

In the woods by the brook with just enough sun, this beautiful seed caught my eye. (It reminds me of exploding milkweed seeds) Probably related. (2-3 inches long)

I agree with auntnance - some species of wild clematis (Clematis sp.).
Nice. This was a new one to me just recently. It's clematis seeds.
This reminded me of the Milkweed and Hickory Tussock caterpillars. I thought I would give it a try. It is a very beautiful seed I think. Thanks for liking it.
