Description:

This 2-foot Virginia Bluebell has beautiful light blue-purple tube-shaped flowers and gray-green leaves and stems. There we a few surrounding plants that had pink flower buds that had yet to bloom.

Fun Fact: Although the flowers are typically blue, white or pink flowers occur on rare occasions.

Habitat:

Located along a semi-shaded portion of a trail at Warner Park in Nashville, TN, lives a small patch of vibrant Virginia bluebells swaying in the breeze. The bluebells cover the ground surrounding other large trees and what appears to be wood nettle.
