And thank you for the common name. That's perfect!
yep, definitly. so pale have i them also in the book (sadly not as internet-reference. Now they have their distuingishable white band at the edge of the cap. He released red milky juice when cut or picked. I use "eol" mostly just for the taxa and common names: Burgundydrop Bonnet.- thats one common name for this mycena ( http://eol.org/pages/188309/overview ). Another interesting detail: This mycena is often visited/infected by the "bonnet mold" spinellus fusiger (which i also find very cool). Thanks for your sharing, first time i saw the young M. haematopus. This is a big enrichment for my "knowledge".nice pictures , fantastic spot.
They are now a pale tan with only a tinge of pink that is picked up by the camera, but not the human eye. As I said, will upload later
have a glazed look and lovely pink.
Thanks! You made me think to go check them again and get a second picture. They've changed hugely. Will post the additional photos later - here for comparison and as a second spotting, which they almost are. I"m thinking I have the id too
thats. whoa cool. look as some sort of mycena. when you dont find the id , i will look by again (i have seen something like those, but where !!)
