Collared Crows
Corvus torquatus
24.8128, 110.497
Field Notes
Description:
A flock of Collared Crows feeding together.
They are on a slightly sandy area at the rocky river bank.
There are a total of 6 birds in the group.
They have black body with white necks and chests.
I'm not sure what bird type are they at first but thanks to Liam, I now know that this species is Corvus torquatus (Collared crow).
Habitat:
漓江 LiJiang River area, YangShuo阳朔, GuangXi广西, China.
Notes:
While touring the Li Jiang River at Yang Shuo in China by boat, I spotted several bird species.
This is the third bird species I took photograph of at Li Jiang River.
They were about 80 meters away from the boat I was on.
I took a picture of them even though I knew that my camera was not designed for distance bird photography.
I am usually not interested in birds but I took photograph of them because I never seen this species of birds before.
