Description:

After fighting for the females, males begin the courtship. It consist in smelling the female genitals thus they can perceive her receptivity. They adopted peculiar stances, showing their tongues, raising the upper lip and craning his neck backwards.

Thanks! Unfortunately we couldn't see the fights, because hierarchy was already established between them (maybe they had fought some weeks ago), but we photographed some males and some young ones during our visits to 'El Torcal de Antequera': http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7682776 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6320086
