Description:

Torotoroka Scops Owl is a common nocturnal species in forest and wooded habitat along western and southern coasts of Madagascar, favoring deciduous forest. Members of the genus Otus they are relatively small owls, with short, rounded wings. Most have erectile ear-tufts.
