Description:

2nd encounter with a wheel bug. Around 2 inches. One of the largest insects. Beneficial because it preys on other insects especially harmful stink bug nymphs and adults.

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

They are so cool! I have never heard of them before until I moved to a rural area this year. I have 6 posted here on Project Noah! I actually had one attack me. I got too close. It flew into my hair. HA!
