Field Notes

Description:

Frog, froglet or toad - 40mm long - doesn't look quite right for Rhinella marina to me but might be wrong as it looks small and younger.

Habitat:

200 metres from small lake, heading away (uphill) conditions warm with moist air.
Flaxton, south-east Queensland, top of the ranges, rain forest, sub-tropical

Notes:

Name changed - 28-Feb-2013 from Bufo marinus
IUCN "Least concern" - http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/41065/0
