Thanks Liam. This does look like the olive backed one.
This reserve has a lot of Lawrences gold finches. This does not look like one though. i am assuming it would have more grey and less yellow.
There are two variations of Lesser Goldfinch: Black-back and Olive-backed form. I believe the Black-backed form is found only in Texas.
