Yes id does, Karen. It is funny to see these guys moving on the leaves surface, cause we don't see their legs, and they just seem to slide from one side to the other.
Yes Martin, I agree with you. The problem is, there aren't many sources in the internet about brazilian (or south american) insects, so I couldn't ID it so far. (The BugGuide.net makes no reference to it, which makes me think it is a native species)
This is an adult tortoise beetle. Most are brightly colored.
Bizzare, I can't make it out with all those covers.
I thought it could a tortoise beetle nimph, but didn't find anything about it.
