Field Notes

Description:

The endangered giant of this world is possibly but seldom sighted at the head of the st-lawrence river estuary, and when it does show up, it's nomad nature doesn't allow us to enjoy it's majestic presence for long. On a precious day, suddenly not one but 5 of them, sometimes in pairs, are feeding a mile from the coast of Les Bergeronnes, Québec. These are obviously not professional pictures, but I'm still glad I took them.
