Description:

Byssomerulius is a genus of fungi in the Meruliaceae family
--- Meruliopsis corium Fr. Ginns syn. Merulius papyrinus (Bull. Ex Fr.) Quel. Forming white to creamy-ochre patches, on dead wood, it can extrude to form low brackets at the edges, brownish with age. Spores 5-6 x 2.5-3.5um. Found on dead branches and twigs, normally on hardwood especially beech. Throughout the year. Europe and America. Not edible

The genus contains eight species, which have a widespread distribution

Notes:

i found some name, because "eol" is busy with maintenance of the page, canot look for which is the right "synonym". Appreciate every suggestion about the right,actual name. And maybe someone has a nice page for me , to look for the actual,prefered fungi-names!!
