Field Notes

Description:

Flower with small blooming parts. The main portion of the flower was a thin tube or capsule, approximately 15-18 mm. long. Each flower had two bright petals on the upper edge at the lip of the tube and the petals were approximately 10 mm. long.

Habitat:

Moist hillside, semi-tropical forest.

Notes:

Several of these flowers were lining the paths around the Texolo waterfalls.
