Habitat:

On the foliage of a tamarisk, or salt cedar, tree, near the bank of the Santa Cruz River in Tucson, Arizona, USA.

Thank you, KarenL! I think this might be the desert subspecies, which is banded in yellow. This lovely creature's yellow was nearly white, but its orange dots were very prominent. I think it was cold; it didn't want to move.
