Description:
"hīnālea ‘akilolo" "Females are fairly common on reefs exposed to surge, males uncommon, and juveniles common during late spring and summer. Males have a greenish bar behind the pectoral fins. Feeds upon invertebrates. Attains 12 inches. Hawai‘i to Southern Japan, Indonesia, and the Tropical Pacific."
