Description:

The fungi growing on the tree was nearly as hard as the bark on the tree itself. Some of the pieces were up to 2 1/2 feet long. The ones shown in the photo are approximately 8 inches long. The green part that looks like bark is fungi as well as the brown/tan. It is all connected. (Very unusual)

Habitat:

Beltzville - Pohopoco Creek - Sawmill Trail. Wooded area.
