Description:

Light grey medium size weevil with rows of pitted patterns along the elytra.

On Eucalyptus leaf

I've added another pair of pics (or pics of pairs, if you like) to this spotting.
I find them here eating Lilac leaves and they blend into the gray colored bark.
I think these weevils are fascinating. I find them here in the garden.
We used to call these kockamookas when kids. They are plentiful amongst the ti-tree at Balnarring and Somers beaches for example. I always remember them around the sallow wattle.
