Field Notes

Description:

The size and combination of black bill, black legs and yellow feet. As well as the orange coloration around the eye but nowhere else.

Notes:

There is a tree on the grounds of the resort at which I am capturing these photos where about 50 little egrets congregate at once, just around sunset. I have a few more days to try and get a good shot of it.

thanks for the help everyone - the bill and legs were right but the coloring around the eyes is definitely snowy. I was working off a list on Wikipedia that claims both species can be found on Antigua. Updating this entry now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_birds_of_Antigua_and_Barbuda
Agreed, Little Egret does not have the plumes round the back of the neck and the face patch is bluish.
The Little Egret is not found in the Caribbean. This should be a Snowy Egret.
