Field Notes

Description:

Grassy looking perching Orchid. Generally flowers in spring but can be variable depending on the altitude.

Habitat:

Epiphytic generally, but can be found on the ground in high light conditions. Prefers high rainfall situations.

Notes:

Has a very mild fragrance. Photo taken beside Lake Te Anau. I have no idea what the common name is.
