Field Notes

Description:

Large rubbery brackets from base of (dead) cherry tree to 3 metres up trunk. Probably 20 brackets total, some 25cm wide.

Habitat:

(introduced) Dead cherry tree 150 metres altitude, fully exposed to sun.
