Description:

Deep sea vase shaped glass sponge with large Osculum. Beautiful spongin mesh. About 15 cm long.

Habitat:

Deep ocean

Notes:

Collected this off the south coast of Victoria, Australia, from a beach where collection is not prohibited. This was washed-up after a storm.
