Field Notes

Description:

Goblet shaped glass sponge with many ostia and a large oval osculum. The sponge was about 10 cms long.

Habitat:

Deep Ocean

Notes:

Collected this off the south coast of Victoria, Australia. Could be Cribochalina sp. If anyone knows, could you please clarify.
