Description:

Harlequin bug eating a large sugar ant while mating.
Pic #3 shows the young nymph
Pic #4 and even younger

Habitat:

On top of the ladder. On the fence. On the gate. On the roses. Over the drive, footpath,house...they're everywhere AAAAAHH !

They're always hungry and always coupled so that's a good theory. Notice an elytra missing. Its a work site around the ladder and it must have got injured.
Well I guess all that love action would make one a little hungry! :)
