Description:

I have a pretty good sports mode on my camera and I caught this guy in flight and it held focus very well. I was very excited to see just how clear he came out. His legs are tucked up tight under him in flight and the sun just shines bronze on his wings.

Great series! Congrats.
It's been so long since I posted this guy that I hadn't realized he needed up dating. Whew - thanks for that heads up! and the kind words.
Good DiFs, "KatCuff" -- dragonflies in flight photos, that is! Since Gordon correctly identified your subject, I suggest you update the spotting accordingly. Don't overlook the "Tags" -- they are useful when searching the PN database.
Thanks Joseph - I love dragonflies and was very psyched when I saw what was there.
Incredible photography! You should be proud of this amazing set! Wow!
Thanks Lisa! I was amazed when I got home and got a really good look at what I was able to capture that day.
Very cool! They move so fast, love looking at it frozen in your photo!
