Field Notes

Description:

Little dude blended in super well except for the bright red legs that caught my eye. I wasn’t sure at the time if she was a beetle or a moth because the wings looked like a solid part of the body

Habitat:

Found on a large tree near a pond at the park in Brisbane

Notes:

Saw this lil cutie on a walk, I’ve never seen this kind of bug before so I did some googling but would like confirmation on the species 😊 Almost missed them, that’s some amazing camouflage!
