Field Notes

Habitat:

I live/was walking in a small wooded neighborhood, with little traffic. The mantis was right by the edge of where the pavement and the grass meet.

Notes:

I saw this Mantis while I was out walking with a kid I mentor... I don't know what species it is.

I was pretty sure it was male since the abdomen was not very plump. The size and color would probably fit the S. limbata. (about 3" long and green.)
