Field Notes

Description:

Dark starfish with red spots ~ 5 inches from center to tips of arms.

Habitat:

Near shore tropical waters.

Notes:

Spotted off of Waikiki, Oahu in about 110 feet of water among penshells on a sandy bottom. Original medium photoprint taken with 35mm SLR in Ikelite housing using flash. Print later scanned and image saved as digital file.
