Field Notes

Description:

A medium-sized moth with a wingspan of 44mm. Dark brown with some some golden orange tint on the wings which have sharp triangular shapes on the end. Also looks somewhat like a bat wing.

Habitat:

Attracted to the night lights in the tropical lowland rainforest of Tawau Hills Park, Sabah, Malaysia (Borneo).
