Description:
height: 3-6 cm; diameter: 1-2.5 cm
Cap conical, faintly striated. Beige to pale brown with a paler margin tinted yellow or pink. Gills whitish, with reflections turning pink with age.
Stype long and slender, smooth and brown, hairy at the base.
Flesh thin, smelling of iodine, the smell becomes stronger when the fungus is dessicated
Habitat:
In troops of leaf litter or pine needles. Late summer through late fall. Fairly common.
I found it in an ope pine-trees and holm oak forest, on ground covered with pine needles.
Notes:
Hard to distinguish from other mycena sp. Probable wrong ID.
