thats always somewhat annoying, find the little fungi back in the big woods.is ok i will look by again, thanks for the congratulation.

could be, when it is common by you and you think it could be that particular species, why not. To REALLY identify fungi, without doubt, you need a spore/gen analyse, therefore what say you cuts. Had i long gills, white creamy. ON a tree/log. maybe you saw some white spores , the cap at the edge a little bit curled inside. texture like rubber ??? You have to decide. :)

hi karen, just quick. looks like an oyster-mushroom (pleurotes) take a look into that genus. good luck
